Amaravati: Chairman, Implementation of 20-Point Programme (Viksit Bharat-Andhra Pradesh) Lanka Dinakar has said the double engine government will lay a strong foundation for a brighter 2026.

Painting a rosy picture for Andhra Pradesh during a media interaction here, he reiterated commitment to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of Swarna Andhra Pradesh, aligned with PM Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat mission.

On key a achievements of Andhra Pradesh in 2025, he said with the patronage from the Centre, Rs8.55 lakh crore investments have been approved, generating 8.23 lakh jobs. Rs13.25 lakh crore worth MoUs were signed at CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, creating employment opportunities for 16.13 lakh youth. He said special focus is laid on North Andhra, Prakasam and Rayalaseema regions.

On Super Six’ promises, he said steps have been taken to implement Annadata Sukhibhava with Rs lakh beneficiaries, Rs2,486 crore spent on Deepam-2 free 3 LPG cylinders to poor families. Stree Shakti free bus travel for women has ensured 3.25 crore journeys benefiting them Rs1,144 crore. and a strong push has been given towards 20 lakh job creation through investments.

Dinakar said Amaravati – Polavaram water security has been addressed. Amaravati works have been accelerated with Rs15,000 crore Central assistance, ORR construction, and major institutional projects. On Polavaram Project, he said nearly Rs18,000 crore has been released till date. Rs12,911 crore is approved for Phase-I completion.

Referring to Veligonda Phase-I nearing completion; he said river interlinking permanently is being mooted to solve fluoride problems and ensure drinking, irrigation, and industrial water. He said Rs10,090 crore assistance has been given to 67.27 lakh students under Talliki Vandanam. Over 25 lakh students are receiving nutritious meals under Dokka Seethamma – PM Poshan. As many as 16,000 teachers have been recruited; thousands of schools modernised under Mana Badi – Mana Bhavishyathu & PM SHRI. Over 20 lakh beneficiaries received treatment under NTR Vaidya Seva – Ayushman Bharat.

Dinakar said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India rose from 11th largest economy (2014) to 4th (2025); poised to become 3rd by 2026. The Union Budget 2026-27 is expected to drive inclusive and infrastructure-led growth, he asserted.
